How JEEP works

Three steps to earning $1,000

The JEEP referral process is straightforward. Submit a lead, a recruiter follows up, and you earn your incentive when the referral enlists.

Submit your lead

Fill out the referral form with the basic contact information of someone you believe would be a strong fit for the Arkansas National Guard.

Recruiter follows up

A local recruiter receives the referral and contacts your lead directly. They'll handle the conversation and guide the prospect through the process.

Earn your $1,000

When your referral successfully enlists into the Arkansas National Guard, you receive a $1,000 incentive payment. It's that straightforward.

Eligibility

Current Arkansas Army and Air National Guard members at the rank of Major (O-4) and below, and veterans of the AR NG, are eligible to become JEEP Assistants. Guard members assigned to Recruiting Command and their immediate family members cannot participate.

Lead referral

Submit your lead directly at jeep1000.com — no separate registration required. Provide your information and the recruit's information, then sign the JEEP Assistant Agreement electronically as part of the same submission.

Duties

JEEP Assistants accompany the recruit to their initial meeting with recruiting and provide guidance, mentorship, and support until the recruit ships to initial training.

Payment

Assistants earn $1,000 per recruit once the recruit ships to initial training and all program requirements are verified. Payments are capped at five recruits per fiscal year and reported on Form 1099 as taxable income.

Payment is issued once your recruit successfully enlists and ships to initial training. The Enlistment Verification and Certification and Request for Payment forms must be completed and verified before payment is released. These payments are taxable and reported on Form 1099.

Yes. You may submit a separate referral for each person you refer. Compensated referrals are capped at five per fiscal year, unless the Department of the Military audits and approves additional leads under full JEEP compliance.

You'll need their first and last name, phone number, and ZIP code, along with whether they have prior military service. You'll provide this when you submit the referral form.

Once submitted, your referral is logged and assigned to a local recruiter, who will reach out to your recruit directly. As the JEEP Assistant, you're expected to accompany your recruit to their initial meeting with the recruiter and provide guidance and support until they ship to initial training.
